ABOUT THE MUSEUM
THE JEEP GUY MUSEUM SHOWCASES AN IMPRESSIVE COLLECTION OF JEEPS WHILE TELLING THE STORY OF THE HARKNESS FAMILY’S SHARED LOVE FOR ADVENTURE AND HISTORY.
Their mission is “to find and preserve vintage Jeeps in their original form for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.” Zach Harkness, The Jeep Guy, has been building Jeeps for nearly 30 years!
The museum aims to delight and educate visitors from near and far, inspire them to embrace the spirit of exploration and discovery, and appreciate the heritage and legacy of Jeep. It’s more than just a vehicle collection, serving as a powerful reminder of the indomitable spirit of innovation that has driven the evolution of Jeep®️ into a symbol of freedom and adventure.
The museum also features a military room, which displays 17 military Jeeps and trailers used in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. This room is dedicated to our Grandpa Harkness in honor of his service as a WWII veteran. He served in the US Army in the 78th Division and fought for the city of Kesternich, Germany during the Battle of the Bulge. He was later awarded the Bronze Star for bravery.
